![]() ![]() My advice: form a stack that is strong enough to wipe out the intruders without loses (!!). you could spot the exact incoming hex and block it with a strong stack but i would not advice so because this does not actually kill them and you'll later on run into lots of accumulated troops. I stil try to offer the best advice: those shadow demons don't spawn there, they teleport in (one-way telehops). As soon as Meandor brings damnation online the lords are in trouble because from that moment on every hp they loose stays lost.Īs i stated above it's been several years since i played the campaign so my memory might be a bit rugged. If his defenders manage to kill a lord before they go down that's a nice bonus. It's to keep your ally alive so he (later on she) can provide research, domain, income, recon and the activities of his other cities. ![]() The strategic idea is not to kill the lords - that is imposible early on. If the lords don't raze the relais they conquer you have to do it yourself with some summons and the meager force your allies give you early on. Even capturing a magic relais wont help it, because the lords are in raiding mode - they will burn the relais to the ground despite the strategic disadvantage - that's at least how i remember it (it's been a long time since i played the campaign.). ![]() The Alldevourer has no domain on the surface and thus it can neither summon antiairsupport nor shoot down the bird with direct damage. The battle will end as draw and your ally will respawn at the begining of the next turn. The ShadowLords can attack the city and kill all your allies units (this includes forcing him into the void) but as long as you tell your bird to just sit there and do nothing the lords can't attack it. Set your bird on a hex next to the central hex of your allies city with the tower. ![]()
